Madhya Pradesh has strong urban banking in Indore and Bhopal and much thinner access in tribal and plateau districts. A Bank Mitra in Madhya Pradesh is often more defensible in a tehsil or large village than in a city ward that already has two CSPs and a branch. Use this page to describe that shop — town, PIN, road access and who will sit at the counter — not to repeat the all-India checklist.
Why CSP demand looks different in Madhya Pradesh
Indore and Bhopal municipal markets saturate quickly. Districts with forested or scheduled areas can have real last-mile demand for pension, NREGA and AEPS, but BCs will ask about road access, power and whether you can keep biometric devices working. Hindi is the default counter language; local languages help in specific belts.
Name the catchment, not just “MP rural”. An Indore or Bhopal city ward, a plateau town such as Sagar, Rewa or Satna, and a scheduled or forested belt such as Jhabua or Mandla are different mapping problems. Jabalpur, Gwalior and Ujjain applications are taken too — they are still not the same case as a weekly haat road outside those cities.
Tehsil towns, haat roads and who sits at the counter
A street-facing room on a tehsil road or a weekly haat road is easier to explain than a first-floor room inside a colony. If your shop is on a weekly haat road, say that on the call — it is more useful than a generic “MP rural” line. Say how far the nearest branch is, and whether the same bank already has a CSP on that market.
Someone must be present at the Madhya Pradesh counter in banking hours. If you work in Indore or Bhopal and the shop is in Jhabua, Mandla, Rewa or another district, still select Madhya Pradesh and the shop PIN. The bank or Corporate BC maps the outlet, not your city job.
Power, roads and devices in tribal and plateau districts
Last-mile demand for pension, NREGA and AEPS does not help if the biometric device is down when customers arrive. BCs will ask about road access, power and whether you can keep the computer, printer and biometric device working. Say whether you have a second data connection and a way to keep the point online. That is practical mapping, not a claim that a slot is vacant.
Forested or scheduled areas are a different trip from a municipal market in Indore or Bhopal. Be honest on the verification call. A counsellor would rather hear about a long or seasonal road on the first call than discover it after a site visit. Hindi at the counter is the default; if a local language is what customers actually speak in your belt, say so.
Areas from which we take Madhya Pradesh applications
Applications come from Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar, Rewa, Satna, Jhabua, Mandla and other MP districts. Write town + PIN. If your shop is on a weekly haat road, say that on the call — it is more useful than a generic “MP rural” line.
Eligibility if you live in Madhya Pradesh
Citizenship, age, education, shop and device rules are the all-India ones — there is no separate “Madhya Pradesh rulebook” on this website. Banks and Corporate BCs use their own circulars. What is Madhya Pradesh-specific is viability: overlap in Indore and Bhopal municipal markets, and whether a tehsil, plateau or tribal point can stay online. Read the eligibility guide before you spend on a fascia or kit.
Choose a preferred bank on the form
On the application form, pick the bank you want on the outlet fascia. The bank or its authorised Corporate BC decides whether the location is viable. We do not assign a bank for a Madhya Pradesh shop and we do not publish a private Madhya Pradesh partnership list.
How to apply from Madhya Pradesh
Use the same form as the rest of the site. The full document and KYC sequence is on the application process guide. For Madhya Pradesh, the details that matter most on the first call are shop PIN, road access and whether the devices will stay online.
- Open the Bank CSP application form
- Enter the shop’s city, town or tehsil, select Madhya Pradesh, and fill the shop’s 6-digit PIN
- Choose a preferred bank — do not leave it as “Other” if you already know
- On the verification call, name the catchment (Indore or Bhopal urban, plateau town, tehsil, haat road, or forested / scheduled belt) and keep Aadhaar and shop photos handy
Apply Bank CSP only forwards enquiries. The bank or Corporate BC decides appointment, training and commission. No fixed monthly income is promised for Madhya Pradesh or any other state.
